Theo thoroughly loves to make a mess! (haha). I knew this one may influence him to do so. But his gross motor skills would surely get some practice in the process!

Luckily this one was outside. I added large sand toys, including shovels, to his sandbox and right to the shovels he went. He spent much of his outdoor time emptying the sand out of the sandbox using the large shovels and boy was he tired after that (sand can get heavy!)

It was the perfect morning activity to prepare him for his afternoon rest time!
