Shovels pots and cups in sand

Shovels and buckets Theo has taken a liking to. A few days ago I filled his sandbox for the first time and added shovels and buckets.

He not only shoveled the sand right out of the sand box with the large shovels, but he spent some time with the smaller shovel moving sand into his buckets, then proceeded to dump them all out.

What better way to encourage sensory learning than to pull out different manipulatives for your child to explore with!
