Snacks out for Delivery People

Our family lives in New England, so we get a good amount of snowstorms and have had bad weather often during this winter season.

Staying focused on friendship and community, we decided to show a little extra appreciation for our delivery people. Theo painted a small canvas and helped me pick out some snacks to add into a bin for our mail and delivery workers.

Once we wrote our “thank you” to them and placed it in the bin, Theo helped pack it with yummy things to eat! As we loaded the basket, we talked about our delivery workers and how they work for a long time some days and could be hungry and thirsty and not get much time to feed their bellies.

We talked about how much they help us get things we need when we are uncomfortable going out in the weather, and deliver it right to our door. I explained they take care of us so we will now take care of them!

Their hard work and bravery keeps us safe and it is the least we can do to give back.
