Color Sorting

• Sorters (Anything you ALREADY own no need to purchase anything. The only requirement is that the items come in different colors and have multiples)

Theo was using all blue bristle blocks while playing so I seized the moment and “sorted” with him.

I began building with the pink bristle blocks and asked if Theo could hand me another pink block (he handed me a few blocks, one included a pink one.)

I took out green and started putting them into a pile. Theo noticed and had been watching and ended up handing me another green one to add to my pile.

Whether he recognized and identified that it was green or handed it to me by coincidence he became involved (and that’s what I wanted!!!)
