• Collage material: I used stickers-he hasn’t touched them in a while!

This one took some encouragement. Theo wasn’t impressed when he sat down. He really wanted to do beading at the moment so I told him once the collaging was done he could do that.

Then he got right on it! Sometimes children might need a little encouragement. Sometimes I will also just leave the activity out and tell him when he’s ready he can go ahead and begin. Once he finished filling the number four we went ahead and counted all the stickers inside.

Today he had a little trouble counting using one to one correspondence and I’m wondering if it’s because it’s early in the morning and he was super interested in the activity itself.

But this is the importance of continuous activities such as these. At certain age is children might be inconsistent with certain knowledge and it’s good to practice!
