Outdoor Painting

Outdoor Painting

What you need

  • Paint of any sort-are used chalk paint, which is ground up chalk and water and rolling sponges.

  • Painting props, brushes, branches, sponges, etc.

How I approached this:

This one was so cool and super inexpensive as well as being easy to prep. You can either ground the chalk yourself or purchase it already ready at your local grocery stores. I purchased mine at Stop and Shop. If you choose to prep everything at home, all you need to do is ground up chalk and add some water.

Theo loved this! He generally enjoys most art and this was just enough twist for him to want to continue painting past running out of our materials! Who would think this was so minimal for us parents to prep but so enriching for our kiddos?
