When Theo and I walked into class today, we noticed there was only one other child joining him for his time. To say I was nervous and understatement because Theo had just gotten used to participating and being comfortable in larger classes. However, he completely shocked me! We walked in. He walked right over to warm up and begin with Miss Pearl and the other student. Now, thinking back to last year around this time see, you would’ve never made this leap and bound. He was very hesitant, even with me, joining him and his mommy and me class. But today, he was the bravest I’ve ever seen! He joined in the circuit, he was attentive during bar time, his transition was smooth with classmates and teacher, and he even joined the others on the miniature rock wall in the large gym room! From beginning to end, he was an active comfortable participant in his gymnastics class!

Next Tuesday, is the very last class of the season. He has already told me so much about how he would love to do it again. Can you imagine a year from now what is experience would be like for him? With the progress he’s already made I can’t imagine! I’m excited to see what this next year brings!
