This activity is for the brave! I do not suggest this activity if your child is under four. There are some limitations with this, shaving cream is not the best for children. I chose this activity because Theo responds very well to my rules, and I was able to monitor him throughout the whole thing.

We did this activity outside for the easier cleanup. I also had him wear a pair of protective glasses in case he accidentally touched his eyes. I recommend this for any child that does this activity.

It’s only human to forget that we have some thing on our hands that can’t go on our face. Before we begin this activity, I explained the dangers of shaving cream, and what it was meant for.

Theo chose on his own to use his feet for this activity which I highly recommend! It’s still a fantastic sensory experience as long as it’s supervised. He used his feet to spread it all over the yard on different surfaces and then he enjoyed cleaning up with the hose!
