Songs Rain rain go away, Mr Sun

We are loaded with rain here this week in New England. With that being said, we slowed it down a bit and designated some time to music. We made today’s music dedicated to weather.

While we sing rain, rain go away I brought up questions such as “how does it make you feel when it rains?” “why do we use umbrellas when it rains?”, etc. You could also have your child draw pictures while they sing and listen to the music. This could help to trigger their emotional or deep thinking and processing skills.
