How I approached this:

Since Theo is so interested, I thought I'd start introducing some basic feelings in asl, in hopes maybe this could help him process his feelings more.

He seems to grasp asl very well and quickly (high interest). I introduced this to him this morning and my goal is to use it as much as I can until the next feeling is introduced (then continue to use both as much as possible).

It can be very helpful to children who may have a difficult time verbally saying how they feel!
