ASL sad

ASL sad

What you will need:

  • ASL sad sign

How I approached this:

So far Theo knows “happy” in ASL while still getting the exact movements down, so today I introduced “sad.”

He got the head tilt part correctly but we still need to work on the hand movements a bit. Children, more so than often, look different doing signs, so it's normal for it not to look exact but more so similar.

Just keep working on them and your kiddo will continue to get better at them. We will continue to work on these signs as we would our verbal language!
