Chalk and water

• Water (soak the chalk in water)

Thanks to mother nature, this activity was ready and prepped. Theo had left some chalk out in the rain and soaked up a bunch of water.

Even though it doesn't seem like much, it was enough to interest him and different enough to make him pick the chalk up and begin using it.

It could have been as simple as it felt differently in his hands. He hasn't been too interested in regular chalk, so I figured why not give this a go!

He ended up staying with this chalk and using it around the yard until it was all completely gone/crumbled.
